Pokemon: Charcadet's Adventure Leads to an Encounter With Arbok

After transmigrating as a Pokémon Egg, Yaoling was nearly boiled alive when his parents, an Armarouge and a Ceruledge, took turns soaking him in hot springs.

After hatching, he became a Charcadet and bonded with the mass-produced System Nine-Nine, which left him with nothing but a task panel and a storage bag.

From the start, Mienshao chased him around the house with a riding crop for skipping class to shout chuuni lines at Gyarados Rock. His master beat him until he was running for his life.

"No matter how broke I am, I won't sell my master's most cherished possession."

A hidden task popped up, rewarding him with two draw tickets. The first gave him a Secret Base construction card, and an unimpressive Level 1 base appeared at the bottom of Gyarados Rock. The second gave him a ruin tablet. Its mural depicted Golurk massacring a village, so he casually tossed it into a corner.

"That looks like a troublesome main quest."

The school organized a maze expedition for the weekend, and the System issued an additional task: capture wanted criminals and recover ruin fragments. Yaoling felt the new knuckle guards he'd just made, glanced at the Hypnosis and Dream Eater in his bag, then looked out the window. Deep in the woods beyond Martial Arts Town, the maze entrance was slowly opening into a dark rift.

"Nine-Nine, I think the main quest has come looking for us."
