Siheyuan: From the Start, I Took Down a Human Trafficking Den and Earned a Merit

Li Zhiyong is down on his luck in the modern world when a leaky induction cooker sends him back to the 1950s. There, he unexpectedly gains a pocket dimension and the memories of hundreds of professions.

Just as he is preparing to settle down and live quietly with his mother, he runs into a gang of human traffickers while on a business trip to Tianjin.

Rather than charge in recklessly, Li Zhiyong follows them all the way to their hideout, then goes to the police station and gathers officers.

During the raid, the criminals open fire and try to flee. He tackles a police officer out of the line of fire, then hurls a brick and disables one attacker's wrist. Afterwards, he receives a public commendation in front of thousands of workers from the steel mill.

Back in the courtyard, though, Yi Zhonghai and Silly Zhu still think of Li Zhiyong as a young man they can easily push around.

After a clash, the three courtyard elders have to host a banquet to apologize. Yi Zhonghai resigns as the courtyard manager and even has to personally arrange Silly Zhu's wedding.

They want to use their fists to lay down the rules, so Li Zhiyong shows the whole courtyard who has actually faced a gun muzzle.
