All Members of My Race Will Switch Gender and Still Disappear

This is a story that describes how humans developed a civilization of "magic science" through the remains of an unknown civilization long, long ago, and evolved into many new races. They were constantly forced or actively traveling through space rifts to travel across the starry sky, and they constantly met and separated in the process, and constantly complained about all kinds of weird rules and customs. As for the protagonist's racial ability that he can switch between male and female images and gender sooner or later, it is just a funny addition and the reason why he can be so indifferent to beautiful women. It is better than writing the protagonist as a saint or a eunuch. The point is: if humans are allowed to freely evolve the type of civilization and the physical body itself, what states may develop after a long period of time.
