Journey to the West: The Monkey Reads My Diary and Changes My Fate

After transmigrating to Mount Fangcun, Qin Han binds himself to the Diary System. He can get rare gear just by jotting down his daily life, a 3,000-year-old flat peach can make him an immortal, and getting his hands on the Chaos Pearl sends his power soaring. Just as he's secretly celebrating his rapidly rising cultivation, a monkey with a furry face and a thunder-god's mouth joins the mountain sect. Sun Wukong has arrived. In his diary, he writes: "This monkey is born with the makings of a sage, but the Buddhists will scheme against him and turn him into a puppet, leaving him as nothing but a working Buddha." The next day, the monkey doesn't choose the Seventy-Two Transformations, but picks the Thirty-Six Heavenly Transformations instead;

On the third day, Qin Han writes the Nine Revolutions Profound Art into his diary, and that very night Sun Wukong starts devouring spiritual energy. On the fourth day, he complains that he has no escape skill, and the monkey immediately pulls out the Golden Crow Rainbow Flight technique. His diary has been read from cover to cover. When Patriarch Bodhi is astonished by how suddenly sensible the monkey has become, Qin Han crouches in a corner and writes a new diary entry: "Good news: the monkey has changed his fate. Bad news: he seems to sneak a look at my diary every day. Even worse news: after reading it, he smiles at me..." Holding the diary, the monkey makes his way to the cave entrance and knocks respectfully. "Benefactor, Old Sun is here to kowtow to you." Qin Han silently closes the diary. "I'm done for. He found out."
