Myriad Worlds: Possessing Liu Heng, I Slay Modu with a Single Sword at Mount Baideng

Snow and wind blanket Mount Baideng. Liu Bang has been surrounded for days by the four hundred thousand Xiongnu cavalry of Modu Chanyu. His provisions are nearly gone, and his life hangs by a thread. An imperial edict is sent back to Chang'an: whichever of the princes can break the siege and rescue the emperor will inherit the throne.

The Crown Prince, Liu Ying, is weak; Zhao Wang Ruyi is favored. Everyone at court believes the throne will go to one of them. No one pays attention to Liu Heng, the fourth prince in Dai, who neither competes nor clamors for attention, until five thousand Yan Yun cavalry slice through the Xiongnu camp like black blades. Wherever they pass, corpses litter the ground, and the four hundred thousand-strong army is routed by a mere few thousand men.

Before Modu's tent, Liu Heng rises with his sword drawn. He unleashes all nine forms of the Son of Heaven's Sword, purple qi and dragon patterns swirling around him. His final move, "Purple Dragon Qi, Ruling the World," cleaves through the sky and descends. Modu and his personal guard commanders, along with the entire camp, are wiped out by a single sword strike!

Atop Mount Baideng, Liu Bang watches that heaven-shaking sword light with his own eyes. Shocked, he also feels a chill in his heart. Even more unbelievable, when the fourth prince he has not seen in years comes striding through the snow, Chen Ping, Zhou Bo, Xiahou Ying, and the other senior ministers all kneel together: "We pay our respects to Your Highness, Prince of Dai!"
