Journey to the West: Mecha of the Tang Dynasty, a Nuke Forces the Buddha to Hand Over the Scriptures

After transmigrating as Tang Sanzang, Chen Xuanzang faces a hell-level quest from the start: the Buddhist sect has made the pilgrimage a cage tailored just for him, while every god and Buddha waits to harvest the reincarnation of Jin Chanzi. He turns around and clings to Nuwa's temple for protection, talks his way into fooling the guard Feng Hanxi, and gets the Heaven-Deriving Art and Creation Contemplation Method for free. From then on, even the Heavenly Dao can no longer calculate his fate.

At the moment when the Jing River Dragon King is being baited into breaking the law by Yuan Shoucheng and is about to be beheaded for withholding rain, Chen Xuanzang intercepts him and talks him out of it. He then faces Yuan Shoucheng and leaves him questioning his own sanity. The prerequisites for the Water and Land Dharma Assembly collapse on the spot, and Chen punches a hole in the pilgrimage plot before it even begins. Yuan Shoucheng has the Celestial Court behind him, while the Jing River Dragon King has the Western Sea Dragon Clan. Chen has thrown both powers into disarray.

While the Tang Emperor is still tearing his hair out over a palace ritual, Chen Xuanzang is already holed up in Hongfu Temple, using cheats to power-level. He conceals Heaven's secrets with the Heaven-Deriving Art while building up his health bar with the Creation Contemplation Method. He has no intention of obediently traveling west. Instead, he plans to lead the Great Tang's mecha army and flatten Mount Lingshan: make Tathagata willingly deliver the scriptures to Chang'an, and force every god and Buddha to kneel and watch him reach the summit.
