Prince of Tennis: The Ice Emperor's Health-Conscious Young Master, Rising to the Top on Supplements

After transmigrating into the Ice Emperor tennis club as its new recruit, Miyashita Rin starts out with a body as frail as a cannon-fodder character's. The System activates: as long as he stuffs himself with supplements, he can raise his combat power without limit! Calcium tablets, vitamins, shark cartilage, fifty-year-old wild ginseng... He wolfs them down while swinging his racket, and in just three days, his accuracy rockets from zero to precise control over balls traveling at 120 km/h. His grip strength surges to 50 kg, and his dynamic vision awakens too. When his best friend Yudai is fretting over a bet, Rin crouches by the court, gobbling boiled eggs. "Your push-ups jumped from 20 to 66? No problem. I can still down two more lollipops."

He crushes a fellow rookie 6-0 in the first round of the internal tryouts, leaving everyone watching stunned. Yesterday, this guy was still trying to find his feel by hitting against a wall, and today he has his opponent questioning his entire life. Daisuke Sena glares at the scoreboard and sneers. "Just got lucky. Tomorrow, at the regulars' selection match, you'll be fetching balls." Miyashita Rin pops a vitamin into his mouth, turns to Yudai, and grins. "Someone's buying supper tomorrow night." The reporters on the sidelines frantically snap photos. "Ice Emperor has a monster rookie hidden away!" Coach Sakaki rests his chin in his hand and narrows his eyes. The smell of supplements on this kid is even more overpowering than Atobe's roses.
