Pokemon: Revenge Begins with Training a Weakling into a Champion!

In his previous life, Champion Trainer Lu An was hunted down by his own uncle in league with foreign forces. Ten years later, his soul transmigrates into a useless high school student. From the start, he gets a free, congenitally deformed Clauncher, its left pincer shrunken to the size of its right one, timid as a mouse and malnourished: the weakest Starter Pokemon in the entire grade.

His classmates are thrilled with the Pidgey and Sandshrew they've drawn, while he holds up this "blue little shrimp" and nearly gets laughed to death. But then the System pops up: Elite Four-level potential confirmed. He signs the contract on the spot, and the System produces a training program detailed down to the pores: a Macho Brace, Brilliant-grade Pokeblocks, and hellish dodgeball training. With this combination of drills, it makes up for its deficiencies in three days and reaches the Elite threshold in seven.

While his classmates are still fretting over their Caterpie, his Clauncher can already crush flying steel balls with its bare pincers. The System presents a new quest: Reach the required combat strength to earn the right to choose a bloodline purification. He crouches down and rubs the shrimp's shell. "Within a year, I want you to reach the top as Champion, with your foot on my dear uncle's face. Got it?" Clauncher raises both pincers, its roar resounding across the entire training ground.
