Digimon: Copying Skills and Blasting Leomon Away

Dongfang Yu transmigrates to the Digital World, where the moment he arrives, the World Tree transforms him into a semi-digital life-form and sends him to Omnimon for special training. Half a year later, Uncle O swings his hand and says, "A secret order from the World Tree: go to File Island and assist Homeostasis." Before Dongfang Yu leaves, he even slips a strand of their essence into Agumon and Gabumon: the evolution codes for WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon. Their destinies were decided long ago.

On the island, Leomon opens with a Beast King Fist. Dongfang Yu takes the blow head-on, copies it on the spot, then punches Leomon clean out of sight. Bubblemon stubbornly follows him, evolving along the way into Kunemon and Kuwagamon, and getting forced to do five hundred push-ups every day. Devimon arrives with Black Gears, recruits Ogremon as his lackey, and shows up at Dongfang Yu's villa to issue a threat: "So you're the biggest variable?"

Dongfang Yu crushes his Death Claw with one hand, and Devimon flees with an arm torn off. Dongfang Yu shakes the fragments of data from his hand and looks up at the sky.

"Yagami Taichi, hurry up and get here. I've even arranged Kuwagamon's big debut for you."
