Horror Revival: The Gatling Gun Exists to Bury Evil Spirits

After transmigrating to an alternate world gripped by a resurgence of horror, Tang Sanzang becomes a young monk in a dilapidated temple deep in the mountains.

The good news: he awakens the Salvation of All Beings System. The bad news: the methods it gives him for exorcising spirits don't seem very Buddhist...

Hail to the Gatling Bodhisattva! He hefts six barrels of purified depleted-uranium rounds and sends three thousand six hundred shots blasting evil spirits straight to the afterlife! Get a Mighty Heavenly Dragon tattoo, rip off his shirt, and he can summon a dragon tattoo spirit that pins all manner of ghosts and gods to the ground and pummels them!

Only before the old monk dies does he tell him that the legacy passed down in this crumbling temple is actually the inheritance of the Buddha of Slaughter, who once butchered his way through the entire cultivation world with a cleaver! That name: Tang Sanzang. First, he buries the heavens; second, he buries the earth; third, he buries all things under heaven!

When a bride from a ghost village deep in the mountains latches onto him, Tang Sanzang slowly rises, a Gatling gun slung over his shoulder and a heavenly dragon coiling behind him. He gives her a nuclear-grade smile.

"Amitabha. This humble monk will now deliver you to the afterlife by physical means."

Don't get the wrong idea. He cultivates authentic Buddhist divine powers, they're just a little... hardcore.
