Tomb Raiding: I Started in the Nine Gates, and My System Insists It's Mythology

After transmigrating to Changsha during the Republic of China era, Su Lin is trapped in a slum, bedridden for seventeen years.

The Huo family sends him a poison pill to sever their karmic ties. Who would have guessed the System would identify it as an elixir of immortality? Reborn anew, he sees through the hypocrisy of the Nine Gates.

He joins an Old Man Mountain expedition to Bottle Mountain and spots the ancient shamanic bloodline hidden within a Miao tribesman at a glance. By recreating the Rain Master’s Edict, he can summon thunder and command the heavens. At the funeral home, he dispels the civet’s hallucinogenic miasma with a flick of his finger. The Old Man Mountain crew are won over, while Partridge Whistle of the Moving Mountain faction seeks his favor for the Muchen Pearl.

Buddha Lord, Second Master, and Chen Yulou can none of them fathom his true strength. Once a sickly wretch everyone looked down on, he draws on his extraordinary System and ancient foundations to overturn the Nine Gates’ hold on Changsha, step by step, and forge a golden age of tomb raiding for people from the bottom of society.
