Jiangshi: The Last Taoist of the End Times

The silent compass turns once more: the zombies' final lament.

The Five Elements Compass was passed down by our founder. There were already very few zombies in his time.

By the next generation, all our ancestors could do was read feng shui and tell fortunes. By my master's generation, the best he could manage was fried rice. The ritual implements at home had gathered a thick layer of dust.

Times changed. My master was living out his retirement in an ordinary apartment block,

saying goodbye to the age of the Taoist priest and planning to spend the rest of his life in peace.

One day, you come home as usual, ready for another quiet evening.

You sense something stirring on the wall behind you and slowly turn around.

Suddenly, you see the Five Elements Compass, which you have never once seen move in your life, slowly opening.
