In the Name of the People: The Zhao Family's Good-for-Nothing Is Forced into the Ministry

Everyone in Handong knows Zhao Lichun has a useless nephew.

He spends his days drinking tea, fishing, and wandering around antique markets. The Zhao family laid out three paths for him to enter government service, and he turned them all down with three words: "Can't be bothered."

Until Sha Ruijin parachutes into Handong. After combing through ten years of data, he discovers that every key piece of information points back to the same person: Zhao Lichun's useless nephew.

That very evening, Sha Ruijin personally calls on him. "Comrade Zhao Changming, the provincial committee needs you."

Zhao Changming takes a bite of sweet potato and mumbles something that no one in Handong's political circles could have anticipated.
