Bright Sword: I Kill Sakata and Instantly Get an Italian Cannon

Lin Rui transmigrates into the world of Bright Sword. A shell on Cangyun Ridge gives him a concussion and awakens the God of War System: sign in for rewards, kill enemies for gear. Signing in at Cangyun Ridge earns him a Type 38 rifle and a marksmanship manual. He never misses within 400 meters, and one shot drops a Japanese machine gunner, earning him 2,000 rounds of ammunition.

Li Yunlong is fretting because he has only two shells left when Lin Rui "finds" a crate of mortar shells in a Japanese artillery bunker. Wang Chengzhu's first shot misses. Lin Rui snatches up a shell and loads it himself. Boom! Sakamoto's command post is wiped out, and the old Japanese officer goes straight to hell. The System blares a notification: Sakamoto Shinzetsu killed. Rewards: one Italian cannon and five crates of shells. Li Yunlong stares at the cannon that appeared out of nowhere, nearly dropping his cigarette.

With the Italian cannon in hand, the New First Regiment's firepower soars. Lin Rui shoulders the cannon and aims at the retreating Japanese regiment. One shot blows its flag to pieces. After the battle, Li Yunlong claps him on the shoulder. "You blew up Sakamoto. Want to take care of Shinozuka Yoshio while you're at it?" Lin Rui pats the Italian cannon in his backpack and grins. "Wherever you point, Commander, I'll fire."
