Watching Empresses in the Palace with the Heavenly Eye

Su Yue, a PhD in psychology, transmigrates into the body of Zhen Huan, newly arrived at the palace, and awakens the power of clairvoyance. She can see through hidden poison and secret letters, and can automatically reveal other people's Jungian eight-function personality profiles and true inner thoughts. She refuses to repeat the original's passive struggle to survive. At a glance, she sees through the Empress's long game, Consort Hua's impulsive recklessness, and An Lingrong's twisted inferiority complex. She also sees the self-serving motives behind Yongzheng treating her as a substitute for Pure Consort.

Using psychology to win hearts and devise schemes, Su Yue foils one poisoning plot after another before they can take hold, secures the loyalty of her subordinates, and firmly allies herself with Shen Meizhuang. She proactively avoids the original story's deadly traps, from falling out with her close friend to being humiliated at Ganlu Temple. Uninterested in an emperor's affection, she turns the various factions against one another to keep them in check, clears the obstacles in the harem step by step, and takes real power into her hands as she rules over the Six Palaces. In the end, she becomes the head of the harem, to whom every consort bows and whom no one can challenge.
