I Pretend to Be Mute at the Tongfu Inn

Lin Mo, a severe social anxiety sufferer, transmigrated.

Destination: Tongfu Inn.

Identity: a dishwasher working in the back courtyard.

Lin Mo was quite pleased. Washing dishes meant no talking and no socializing. Perfect.

But then...

Some thugs tried to dine and dash. He dodged out of the way, and they ended up on their knees.

A con artist came to challenge the inn. Lin Mo opened his mouth, and the fraud ran off.

A swordsman from beyond the passes came to issue a challenge. Lin Mo was too scared to go downstairs, and the swordsman tripped over on his own.

From then on, a legend spread through Qixia Town: there was a mysterious master at Tongfu Inn who never made a move and could not be defeated.

Martial artists from all over flocked there, eager to catch a glimpse of the expert.

Hiding in a corner of the kitchen, Lin Mo trembled with fear. "I'm really just a dishwasher!"

Then, one day, a real crisis arrived. Looking at the people behind him who needed protection, Lin Mo stood up of his own accord for the first time.
