American Comics: A Bloodline Wanderer Awakens Dimensional Plunder

In Gotham's East End, three months after Lin Jue arrived in the DC Universe, a dimensional rift only he could see tore open at the mouth of an alley. An entrance to the world of vampires slowly emerged.

On a plane, the Master had just awakened, and more than two hundred passengers were its emergency rations. Lin Jue stood on the cargo hold's hatch as the muffled impact of something enormous rang out beneath his feet. One second before a flight attendant could open the hatch, he shouted, "There's a bomb!" He forced all the passengers to press their weight against the hatch, changing the fate of the entire flight by force.

Talent Plunder activated. Defeat an opponent and seize all their abilities, automatically removing any side effects. The Master's regenerative power, Eichhorst's speed, the worms' parasitic instincts: with every vampire he killed, his body took another step toward becoming the "perfect vampire."

"I'm not here to be a hero." Lin Jue pulled his silver sword from the Master's chest and watched as it fled in panic into the dimensional rift. "I'm just here to stock up."

The System displayed a prompt: Loading the next dimension's cover. He looked up at Gotham's night sky, where the Bat-Signal cut through the clouds. The ability to steal powers wasn't limited to vampires.
