The First Emperor's Path to Becoming King of the Underworld

Qin Shi Huang Ying Zheng dies at Shaqiu and his soul enters the underworld. He thinks this is the end, only to discover that the Ten Yama Kings each rule their own domains, Heaven and the Buddhist realm vie for power, and someone is manipulating the laws of reincarnation. More astonishing still, his lifespan was forcibly cut short by forbidden arts. Someone did not want him to live.

The First Emperor laughs.

He was an emperor among the living, and he will be an emperor among the dead. Leading the heroic spirits of Great Qin's greatest generals, Bai Qi, Wang Jian, Meng Tian, and Zhang Han, he rebuilds an undying army. They fight from the Ghost Gate to Fengdu, from the First Hall to the Tenth, and trample the Eighteen Layers of Hell beneath their feet.

But the underworld is not all he wants.

He schemes to arrange the Eight Immortals' reincarnations, manipulates the calamity of the Journey to the West, secretly aids Houtu's resurrection, and shifts the balance of the struggle between Buddhism and Daoism. He will do what no one has dared to imagine in a thousand years: free the underworld from Heaven and the Western Paradise, and make it independent across the Three Realms.

A million Qin soldiers will rebuild the underworld. The greatest emperor of all time will slaughter gods and claim the throne.

A struggle of schemes and conquest that will sweep across the Three Realms now begins.
