Bright Sword: Undercover as a Puppet Soldier, I Turn Fertilizer into High Explosives

After transmigrating into Bright Sword, Xu Yang became the captain of a puppet army security squad. Others joined the Japanese collaborators just to make a living; he became an undercover agent, serving the country by taking a roundabout path.

The day the Ultimate Undercover System activated, its slot machine lottery spat out three instruction manuals. Xu Yang opened the first one: mix fertilizer with sugar, then boil and dry it according to the steps, and you get powerful explosives.

The Independent Regiment was fretting that their homemade grenades from the border region only made a loud noise. Xu Yang had truckloads of his fertilizer powder sent to Yang Village. Li Yunlong squatted by the pot and watched all day. Once the sticky stuff had dried and been ground into powder, they stuffed it into grenades and threw one: "Boom!" It was just as good as the Japanese devils' grenades.

And that was only the beginning. The Japanese devils went crazy piling achievements on him, his fellow puppet soldiers begged and pleaded for him to take their goods, and Nichikawa Okasaka slapped the table and cursed the person who reported him: "Even if I betrayed the Emperor, Xu-san never would!"

Li Yunlong could only laugh. "If this kid keeps at it, he'll end up as commander-in-chief of the puppet army."

Xu Yang wiped down the Leica camera he'd just received and looked toward the next batch of fertilizer powder. "What's the rush? This is only the start. I'll reveal everything after I turn the Japanese army's arsenal into ours."
