Apocalypse Testing Ground: From the Start, I Awaken the Book of Time

Experimental subject No. 766 awakens on a deserted island and has his left arm severed by a black-clad female assassin.

The blood that sprays out is golden. The assassin recoils in pain, and a cold, mechanical voice suddenly rings in his mind:

"An activatable host has been detected. Would you like to consume life factors and bind the sole divine artifact, the Book of Ages?"

The moment he confirms, the first page, "Jinzhi Yue," suddenly opens, and golden threads silently sink into the female assassin's brow.

On the brink of death, he watches his enemy's eyes glaze over and her body fall. The voice speaks again:

"The target's life factors meet the conversion criteria. Would you like to transform her into a Golden Thread Puppet and read all her memories?"

The instant he accepts, a flood of unfamiliar memories pours in: memories of this island, of the so-called "life factors," and of the doomsday experimental sites... scattered across the globe.
