Genshin Impact: The Yaksha Healer, Purging Karmic Debt to Prove the Heavenly Principles

Before the Archon War, a newly born Cryo Yaksha was hunted by Morax for three days and nights, all because he had smacked the dragon in the face with an ice spear.

Guizhong rescued him and named him Xue Kui. After entering the human world, the young Yaksha repeatedly cut his own arm to figure out how to treat his human elder brother's bone injury. Through sheer persistence, he discovered how to convert Cryo energy into life force. The Yaksha became a healing adept, mastering a healing art even the Archons had yet to learn.

At the tavern, he pours wine for his disciple Kunikuzushi as he brags about how he once made Morax eat crow, held Anemo Archon Venti's wind blade to his throat, and judged the Electro Archon's "shutting herself away to pursue her own vision" as both pitiful and tragic. The golden-haired Traveler cautiously asks, "Have you ever met a woman who looks like me?" Xue Kui casually replies, "It was a sweet night," making Ying pull her sword on the spot.

From the Archon War to the Cataclysm of Khaenri'ah, from Yaksha to healing adept, he witnesses one era after another come to an end. He's treated more people than the Archons have killed. The disciples he's taught are more widespread across the land than the Seven's statues.

"Time wears many things away, but what has been inscribed can be remembered by those who come after."
