Hunter X Hunter: Infinite Blind Boxes, Netero Begs Me to Open One

After transmigrating into the world of Hunter x Hunter, Molai Ke awakened the Nen Ability "Infinite Wonder Blind Boxes." By approaching special people and places, he could get blind boxes containing items and skills from the Myriad Worlds!

An ordinary blind box gave him the Four Major Principles of Nen, letting him skip the beginner's hurdles entirely. He also got a portable storage space where he could stash anything.

But he opened his eyes in Meteor City. Want to get out? He could either fight his way out like the Phantom Troupe or find a mafia family to use as a stepping stone. So he picked the Nostrade family, not because the boss was powerful, but because there were blind boxes near him, and an intermediate one near his daughter Neon. It gave him The Collector, a firearm from League of Legends: unlimited ammo, and an execution effect that instantly killed anyone with 5% health remaining.

The Olympics martial arts tournament at Heavens Arena was about to begin, and Chairman Netero would be there in person. There was a good chance the old man had a high-grade or even a special-grade blind box nearby.

Others competed in talent and training. He piggybacked on the plot, the characters, and the boxes. This wasn't cheating; it was opening blind boxes.
