The Outcast: Quanzhen's Demons Run Amok While I, the Sect Leader, Slack Off

The Quanxing sect launches a nighttime attack on Mount Longhu, and acting leader Gong Qing is about to take the blame for Tian Jinzong's death. His older brother, Gong Yu, bursts in: "If you want to die, get insurance first and name me as the beneficiary!" Tian Jinzong's memories are stolen, and the Old Celestial Master flies into a rage. He descends the mountain, and fourteen members of Quanxing confront him head-on. One palm strike apiece, and the ground is littered with the dead and wounded.

Gong Yu spends the whole time running for his life, darting around like the wind with his Golden Escape Light. But in the end, he fails to stop his younger brother, who falls beneath the Old Celestial Master's palm. Looking at Gong Qing's corpse, he finally drops the act: he joins Quanxing and takes over as its leader.

"Those who accept me can carry on as before. Those who don't, give me your name and location. I'll come find you whenever I please."

With the Golden Escape Light at his command, he makes a getaway from a hotel on Beijing's Second Ring Road and rescues people right under the Old Celestial Master's nose on the grasslands. From staying alive to taking power, from fleeing to bringing Quanxing's fiends to heel, he's determined to be their leader. The Old Celestial Master can kill people, but can he kill every last member of Quanxing?
