Tales of Cats and Dogs

Have you ever had one of those moments when nothing has happened, yet you suddenly feel exhausted; when everything around you is lively, but there seems to be an empty space inside? The city keeps pushing people forward. After long enough, you barely have time to make room for your own feelings. But hidden in a mountain no one knows about is a little wooden cabin, home to a cat and a dog: Mihua, a warm and affectionate cat, and Kele, a quiet, dependable dog. They grow vegetables, cook, fish, and build fences, filling their ordinary days with warmth as they quietly mend hearts worn down by life.

You might think this is just a heartwarming tale of mountain life, but the further you read, the more you realize that this mountain is no ordinary place. A cave behind a waterfall, faint lights in the grass after dark, mysterious fruit appearing by the fence, and barely glimpsed “neighbors” deep in the bamboo grove... It all seems to be telling you that perhaps humans aren’t the only ones being healed.

This isn’t about escaping reality. It’s about hoping you can find yourself again beyond it...
