In the mortal world, she had been one of the Five Emperors, among the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors, and the daughter of Zhuanxu. She was Chang’e’s close relative, and Chang’e was supposed to call her Aunt. Chang’e hurried to the Southern Heavenly Gate and said to the two guards, “Please wait, guards. I have a few words to say to Aunt Sigu.” Then she quickly asked Sigu, “What did you do wrong, Aunt?” Sigu replied, “When the Queen Mother was painting, I splashed a drop of ink onto the corner of the paper. Ah, I suppose this was my fate!” Chang’e comforted her for a while, but soon the guards stepped forward, seized Sigu, and led her to the Southern Heavenly Gate.
