Intangible Heritage Livestream: AI Made Me Famous Worldwide

No one could have guessed that Lu Chen, the taciturn man running a dilapidated Beijing embroidery workshop, was a retired AI genius.

For three years, he resisted the temptations of big business and devoted himself to developing an AI system for intangible cultural heritage, all to revive the declining art of Beijing embroidery.

A chance livestream collaboration brought him together with Su Muyan, a sharp-eyed livestream company owner.

From being mocked as “old-fashioned and out of date” to using AI to unlock lost embroidery techniques and selling out in seconds during livestreams;

from being smeared by copycats to using AI authentication technology to wipe out the entire counterfeit industry;

from safeguarding intangible cultural heritage alone to founding an alliance of artisans, leading thousands of craftspeople in the fight against big business and taking their craft onto the world stage!

“Those who counterfeit intangible cultural heritage, I will expose. Those who suppress its inheritance, I will crush!”

With a needle for a blade and AI for wings, Lu Chen carves out a legendary path for Chinese intangible cultural heritage in the world of livestreaming!
