The Girl in the Next Seat Is Snow, the Neighbor Is Mo: My Tokyo Story

Li Yu had imagined his life studying in Japan would consist of classes, a part-time job, and the library, just an introverted, rational top student.

Then he moved into an old apartment near the Kandagawa River and discovered that the walls seemed to have... some soundproofing issues.

His neighbor on the left was Shiratori Nozomi, a fellow student in his year.

With silver hair and red eyes, she was as delicate as a porcelain doll, but she was also a severely socially anxious "legal loli."

"U-um... Li, could you share some of your braised pork with me? In exchange, you can pat my head."

His neighbor on the right was Tachibana Shiori, the unattainable goddess of a senior everyone admired at school.

Long, straight black hair, top grades, a sharp tongue, and a scheming streak, but in private she was a good-for-nothing who couldn't take care of herself at all.

"Li, since you've already seen the underwear strewn all over my room, you'll have to take responsibility and help me clean it for the rest of my life."

With just two thin walls between them, Li Yu's life as an international student went completely off the rails.

A heartwarming tale about having both your stomach and your heart captured, and finding a place to call "home" in a foreign land.
