The Ninth Contact

I'm 31 this year, and I work on the packing line at a factory. I have only nine contacts on WeChat. You probably think those nine people include my parents, relatives, or friends, don't you? Actually, they don't. To me, there are only two kinds of people: the labor dispatch company that can make me money while alive, and the dead, who are no use to me... So they aren't in my WeChat at all... I don't reply to messages, I don't date, and I don't trust anyone. After all, at the factory, a paycheck is the only thing that's real... But on January 17, 2026, my life changed. I actually got a golden finger, otherwise known as a System...
