Siheyuan: A Nation's Heavy Industry Begins with the Chief Engineer

A top mechanical engineering expert from the 21st century transmigrates to 1950. On the battlefield, he's not only a war hero, but also a "god of mechanics" who repairs a captured American tank. After returning to China and leaving military service, he turns down an administrative post and is parachuted into the Red Star Steel Rolling Mill as its sole chief engineer. Facing Yi Zhonghai, a Level Eight worker still hand-making parts, the protagonist shows them CNC machine tools and automation blueprints and tells them: The times have changed.
