Siheyuan: Silly Zhu in 1945, with Both Parents Alive

Reborn?

My dad is He Daqing!

I’m only ten, Mom died in childbirth, and He Yushui hasn’t been born yet?

No problem. First, I’ll save Mom so she can keep sorting out that unreliable dad!

He Daqing: “Honey, I’ve got a dinner engagement tonight!”

He Yuzhu: “He Daqing, your wife says to come home for dinner!”

Yi Zhonghai, Jia Dongxu, Liu Haizhong, Yan Bugui, Jia Zhangshi, Qin Huairu, go play among yourselves.

Yu Congrong: “You’re the one who saved our company?”

He Yuzhu: “You’re that big guy who fired a submachine gun at a plane from the mountaintop?”

Wu Qianli: “Zhuzi, I order you to withdraw. This is our company’s fight!”

He Yuzhu: “Company Commander Wu, I’ve got another batch of supplies. Do you still want them?”

Mei Sheng: “I’m going up there today too!”

He Yuzhu: “Political Instructor Mei, can you even see?”

Wu Qianli: “Instructor, today you’re under Squad Leader He’s command!”

A different take on the courtyard-house story, beginning in the final days of the War of Resistance against Japan, with undercover and infiltration segments along the way, then the Korean War, and finally Hong Kong’s rise. The story returns the favor by supporting the military industry and racing ahead in science and technology. Enjoy!
