Ranking the Strangest Emperors: Old Zhu's Mind Is Blown

The Heavenly Dao Gold Ranking descended upon the myriad worlds, listing history's ten most eccentric imperial side hustles!

Those who made the list could earn rewards for their achievements, while incompetent rulers who brought ruin to their countries would suffer Heaven's punishment!

From the start, it ranked Lu Ban of the Ming Dynasty, Zhu Youxiao. He loved carpentry more than ruling, not only handcrafting a model of the Qianqing Palace, but also building an automatic fountain in the palace!

In the Hongwu era, Zhu Yuanzhang watched the image of his descendant, Chongba, planing wood and saw his blood pressure skyrocket. "I fought tooth and nail to win this empire, and you use it to play carpenter? You unfilial brat, get out here!"

But that was only the beginning!

Painting and calligraphy master Zhao Ji: His Slender Gold script was peerless, yet he brought about the Jingkang Incident. Even as a prisoner, he still wanted to paint?

The mighty General Zhu Houzhao: He appointed himself commander, raised tigers in his Leopard House, and even led an imperial expedition in person?

When Season Two began ranking the ten most wasteful rulers, and the "Emperor Who Opened the Gates" Zhu Qizhen, the "Great Qing Spendthrift" Qianlong, and Empress Dowager Cixi, who said "use all the resources of China," appeared...

The emperors across the myriad worlds were all left broken!

Zhu Yuanzhang completely lost it. Gripping the Son of Heaven's sword, his eyes bloodshot, he roared, "Don't stop me! Open a time-space passage! I'm crossing worlds to butcher this bunch of wastrels!"
