2:19, PowerPoint Killed Me

At 2 a.m., I was still revising the 37th version of a PowerPoint for a client when an email suddenly popped up: "Don't work overtime. You'll die." It was from me, ten years in the future. Three minutes later, the power really did go out on the entire floor. To survive until dawn, I have to get the client to say "No more revisions" before 4 a.m. Otherwise, I'll have to die in place of myself in another timeline. For a corporate wage slave, the KPI has finally changed from delivering the work to escaping with my life.
