Justice in Another World: Starting by Suing a Dragon

Lin Yuan, a doctor of law, accidentally transmigrates to the alien world of Canglan, where the strong prey on the weak and the law is nowhere to be found. Dragons can destroy farmland without anyone daring to stop them, mages can wreak havoc and escape justice, and the king's privileges stand above everything. While others are still kneeling and begging for mercy, Lin Yuan takes the alien world's criminal code and steps into court. A dragon tramples a farmer's fields? He demands compensation for polishing its scales, and makes it apologize in court! A mage recklessly casts forbidden spells? He prosecutes them for endangering public safety and throws them in a magic prison! The king tries to pardon a criminal? Lin Yuan slams his hand on the bench and reads aloud from the code: "Your Majesty, before the law, gods and demons are equal!" From a village courtroom to the alien world's supreme court, from disputes between commoners to lawsuits involving gods and demons, Lin Yuan wields the law as his blade and justice as his banner, carving a path for the rule of law through a land where might makes right. From then on, a saying spreads across the alien world: You can offend anyone but Lawyer Lin, or not even the gods can save you!
