Construction Worker: My Phone Can Download Future Technology

Qi Shen, 25, is a country boy from northern Anhui who has spent five years hauling bricks at construction sites in Shanghai.

His father is injured at work on the eve of the college entrance exam, forcing him to drop out and take a job. He lives in a crowded shared apartment, surviving on cold steamed buns.

One day, he finds a discarded phone that can automatically download blueprints for technology from ten years in the future.

Using 3D printing, he creates highly efficient solar panels, then sells the patent to foreign investors for an astronomical sum.

He refuses to sell himself, and foreign forces surround him. He narrowly escapes being kidnapped on the street.

The police are no help, but the state suddenly steps in, sends a car to escort him, and upgrades security at the lab.

From bricklayer to rising star in scientific research, he holds the future in his hands and turns his fortunes around at every step.

Quantum batteries, nanomaterials, AI chips... He submits one invention after another to the nation.

The foreigners panic. Blockades, rumors, bribery, assassination: they try everything.

He grins. "What's there to panic about? I've still got another move!"
