Soul Ferry: The Ghostly Eye

At midnight in Convenience Store No. 444, after the lights go out, a ghostly glow appears in Xia Dongqing's right eye. The eye that can see ghosts begins to reveal unfamiliar memories. His left eye reflects the world of the living, his right eye illuminates a hundred ghosts, and with both eyes open, he can see the entire Netherworld altar. Yellowed talismans, a trench coat carved with incantations, and a strange telephone ringing pull him into the crack between yin and yang. The underworld is shaken, and the Netherworld King investigates the disappearance of a ferryman. Behind the "eye spirits" wandering the city lie his altered past and a pact spanning two lives. Xia Dongqing must recover Zhao Li's remnant soul on the border between the living and the dead, because the eye holds not only another person's fate, but also the truth about himself. Together with the Nine Heavens Mysterious Lady Ya, he will unravel the mysteries surrounding an undelivered letter from 1937, the anguished cries of a mass grave, and the life-or-death fate of his younger sister, Xia Dongyue.
