A Chinese Odyssey: Fairy Zixia, Please Behave Yourself!

At the instant the Moonlight Treasure Box reverses time and space, a purple figure outside the Water Curtain Cave flashes before Zhi Zunbao's eyes. In his previous life, it was Zixia herself who placed the golden circlet on his head, ending the carefree life of the Great Sage Equal to Heaven. Reborn once more, he swears to make this stubborn fairy suffer.

"Zhi Zunbao, what are you up to now?" Zixia grips the Purple-Green Sword and glares at him, only to see the rascal holding up a skewer of candied hawthorns with a grin. "My lady, your husband has come to return the token of love you gave him five hundred years ago."

He deliberately pretends to propose to her at a banquet hosted by the Bull Demon King, but just as Zixia is moved, he pulls out a demon-revealing mirror. "Take a look at yourself. Are you worthy of the Great Sage Equal to Heaven now?" The woman in the mirror has tear-streaked cheeks, yet pain pierces his heart. It is not until the day Zixia takes a blow from the Bull Demon King's iron staff to save him, and blood dyes the clouds red, that Zhi Zunbao finally tears off his mask of hypocrisy: "To hell with the pilgrimage! I only want you!"
