I'll Come Clean: I'm the Inspection Team Directly Above Sha Ruijin

Chen Rui is reborn and transmigrates, becoming a lowly judge at the Jingzhou City Court in Handong Province, seemingly without connections or influence. Knowing that an earth-shattering storm is about to sweep over this land, he chooses to lie low in the shadows, diligently performing his duties and keeping an extremely low profile.

But while investigating a murder caused by a land dispute in an urban village, he accidentally stumbles upon the core case files and uncovers a deal exchanging power for money at Gao Xiaoqin's Shanshui Manor. At the critical moment, he is forced to hide temporarily in the red-light district to avoid trouble. But he happens to be caught up in the anti-prostitution crackdown of the “Anti-Corruption Storm” campaign. Hou Liangping leads the operation himself and arrests Chen Rui on the spot under the glaring lights!

“Soliciting prostitutes and dereliction of duty! Chen Rui, you've disgraced the judicial robe. Get ready to rot in prison!” Hou Liangping declares righteously.

In the interrogation room, all kinds of “evidence” are hastily fabricated, while threats and inducements come one after another.

Chen Rui sneers. “Hou Liangping, you can see the dust, but not the executioner's blade hanging over your head. You want to touch me? Ask Houhai first!”
