Fishing in Honghuang! From the Start, I Reel in Wu Zetian Playing Cuju

Chu Feng's soul transmigrates into the Great Tang during the Zhenguan era, a time plagued by gods and demons, where he becomes a lowly constable whose life is worth less than grass!

By chance, he awakens the Supreme Fishing Rod: fishing through the primordial chaos of time and space!

He casts his line into the river of time, fishing up divine arts and supreme treasures from the Myriad Worlds, as well as unclaimed opportunities from the past and future!

From the start, his first cast goes into the imperial palace at Chang'an, where he unexpectedly fishes a young Wu Zetian out of a parallel world. She had snuck into a secret realm within the palace to play cuju!

The Journey to the West plot gets thrown off course:

Patriarch Subhuti: Where is my jade slip of teachings? Who stole Sun Wukong's Dao foundation?! Yuan Tiangang: The divination is in chaos! Where did this unforeseen variable come from? The Buddhist sect: The journey to fetch the scriptures has gone off course! Did the Golden Hoop Curse end up on the wrong monkey?! The Celestial Court: The Peach Garden is empty? Who reached across space and snatched peaches that were three thousand years old!

Even more shocking, when the Celestial Court sends its forces to surround Chu Feng, he finally realizes:

All the immortals and Buddhas in the heavens have already rotted away! The so-called tribulation of the Heavenly Dao is actually a shocking scam that has been unfolding for countless ages!

Watch Chu Feng wield his fishing rod and cast into the depths of time: fishing away King Zhou's nine-tailed fox, fishing away the souls of the righteous gods of the Investiture of the Gods, and fishing out the foundations of the Sages' schemes...

With a mortal body, he will fish through the shackles of the primordial chaos and reshape the order of heaven and earth!
