Reborn as a Correctional Officer at a Detention Center

In his previous life, Liu Zhi was a down-and-out young man who never accomplished anything. He struggled through life's mire and left the world full of resentment. When he opened his eyes again, he had been reborn as a correctional officer at a detention center! As he gazes at the cold iron bars around him and the prisoners with their varied expressions, Liu Zhi is overwhelmed by mixed emotions.

On his first day at work, he runs into a troublesome "hard case," Xu Qiang. A habitual offender, Xu Qiang starts challenging the officers' authority as soon as he enters the detention center. He deliberately breaks the rules and incites the other prisoners to cause trouble. Faced with Xu Qiang's arrogance, Liu Zhi doesn't back down as his former self would have. Instead, he handles the situation calmly and decides to start by investigating Xu Qiang's past, searching for the sore spot in his heart.
