Hong Kong Films: From Brawling in Portland Street to Taking Down the East Star Gang!

A rainy night on Portland Street, 1994.

Chen Haonan cleaves his way through a chaotic age, while Chen Luo takes a bullet for him in a dark alley...

"Brother, you just keep charging ahead. I'll take the fall."

Everyone thinks Hung Hing has only one boss in Causeway Bay,

never knowing that behind every one of Haonan's legendary victories stands the same shadow:

Crow's Molotov cocktails fail because Luo swapped them for soda in advance;

Yaoyang's hundred guns are seized because Luo sank the weapons in the sea in the dead of night;

Han Bin rises to power, Chicken returns, and Little Stammerer escapes a deadly fate...

Every one of these outcomes is a script Luo bought with his life.

"Haonan is the light. I'll be the umbrella that shields him from bullets and even the sun."

When the Causeway Bay sign finally bears the four characters "Hung Hing Haonan,"

Chen Luo pats his brother on the shoulder and turns to walk into the rain:

"You don't have to repay me. Just remember, we promised to go straight together."

Brothers side by side, living by the blade;

When you join the underworld, you always have to pay. But this time, they can afford it.
