My Spirit Fields Rebel

Qing An is an odd-job disciple whom his sect has branded as having a "crippled spiritual root." He is put in charge of a barren mountain slope that no one expects to amount to anything. While others farm with the Spirit Rain Art, he digs up the most primitive tools from the soil and tends the land with his sweat. Everyone laughs at his foolishness, unaware that under the urging of the Greenwood Art, every inch of soil conveys the laws of nature. Where his sweat falls on parched land, a golden ear of wheat grows, unseen for ten thousand years. The ear of grain sings an ancient song day and night, guiding him to draw upon the earth's energy and make it his own. While the great immortal sects fight over lands where the spiritual ley lines have run dry, rice seedlings stand like swords in the hundred acres of barren fields beneath Qing An's feet. With a small movement of his fingers, endless waves of wheat surge like dragons, pointing straight toward the boundless sky. "This land is my greatest spiritual root."
