On the anniversary of the death of his wife, photographer Aidan sets out to Lhasa with a broken heart to seek solace; in a dark alley and a strange second-hand shop, he is forced to buy an ominous relic - an ancient Gawu box engraved with the six-character mantra in reverse. It was bitingly cold to the touch, and the lining was actually made of rotten human skin, exuding a sickening sweetness. The nightmare has been with me ever since. The low, chaotic and recited sutras recited directly in his mind, dragging him into the ultimate terrifying fantasy: in the endless snowstorm, a ferocious temple made of huge animal bones and human remains - "Samye Lomba" - loomed on the cliff, like a giant mouth of a skeleton that selectively devours people, exuding a stench of stale butter and strong blood! What's even more creepy is that the handwriting of his deceased wife Lin Wei strangely appeared in his room, issuing a desperate warning: "Don't come... To me..." Is this a warning from the dead soul, or a bait from the evil spirit? This novel and its characters are purely fictitious. Any similarity is purely coincidental and should not be imitated.
