Thanos: Wiping Out the Avengers from the Start, Shocking the World

Other people's Systems help them level up and fight monsters. This System forces you to slaughter the Avengers in a quest for revenge.

Causal Branch Pruning: 32%. Every hero killed nudged the System's progress bar forward. What was this lousy System trying to buy with heroes' blood? Was the truth behind saving the universe really to pave the way with Avengers' corpses?

"If killing one to save ten thousand is justice, what about killing Iron Man to save Earth?"

The System said this was the formula for saving the universe, but Thanos looked at the skin stained with Thor's blood and asked, "If I kill all my comrades for the greater good, will the world that's left still be worth saving?"
