Chicken Silent Hill

On the haunted Chicken Ridge, Zhou Guijin, the night watchman at the Gold Company, was murdered. The clues to the case cross the divide between the living and the dead, and lead back to three generations of enmity between the Huang and Zhou families. The bandit Zhou Silian ran rampant through the region before Huang Erhuzi killed him. But Zhou's children and grandchildren each sought revenge on the Huang family, setting off a series of shocking massacres. The novel depicts the many faces of rural governance across different eras, as well as the ugliness and radiance of human nature. Using ghost stories to drive the plot, it strives to present a different kind of murder mystery.
