Xiao Gu’s Fantastic Adventures

Xiaogu is a second-grader in Class Four. One afternoon, on her way to school, she encounters a monster and begins a long battle against monsters. Episode One As she fights the monster, a girl named Xiaoluo is taken hostage. The monster spews out smoke that covers the area, and Xiaogu and the monster trade blows with rocks. In the confusion, the monster knocks Xiaoluo unconscious with a rock. Xiaogu snatches it and defeats the monster. The monster dissolves into a cloud of thick smoke. When the smoke clears, they discover that the fight took place on the school playground. The onlookers see Xiaogu holding a rock and Xiaoluo lying on the ground, and mistakenly assume Xiaogu is the culprit. This novel and its characters are entirely fictional.
