Gourmet Tycoon: From Delivery Driver to God of Food

“When culinary skill becomes divine authority, who can preserve the true taste of the human world?”

Lin Mo, an ordinary food deliveryman, unexpectedly awakens the inheritance of the God of Food and becomes the modern-day bearer of the Nine Heavens Recipe Book. This self-updating cookbook guides him to collect the Seven Boundary-Suppressing Woks and fight the “United Nations of Cuisine,” which seeks to rule the world through industrialized food and dark cuisine.

With a group of apprentices of very different temperaments, including Lin He, the God of Food’s son, who can purify contaminated food; Xiao Dao, a hot-blooded and reckless knife-work prodigy; and Bai Xiaoran, a rational, levelheaded data analyst, Lin Mo runs a little restaurant called “Nine Heavens” while searching around the world for the lost essence of fine cuisine.

From Parisian dessert shops to kitchens on the Arctic ice fields, from cloning labs to interstellar culinary battlefields, they use the humblest dishes to fight the processed-food empire of financial giants, evil chefs from the dark culinary world, and even the God of Food himself after he has been corrupted.

“Fine food, after all, is simply a way for every hungry soul to find its way home.”, Lin Mo
