The Legendary Tale That Shook the Film and TV World

Zhen Huan, a little woodcutter.

While gathering firewood, Zhen Huan encounters a stone giant from time immemorial.

The stone giant comes back to life, and Zhen Huan's destiny takes off.

There is no difference in rank or worth between lives.

When the nine return to one and Heaven and Earth become one, it turns out that everyone has the chance to cultivate immortality and become a Buddha.

Unfortunately, Zhen Huan is a fraction too slow, and the world's only secret manual for saving all creation is snatched up in a free-for-all.

The top half flies to Heaven, and the bottom half sinks into the earth.

Though Zhen Huan is quick-eyed and quick-handed, all he manages to grab is the middle, with both ends missing.

There is no doubt about it. The Heavenly Court seized the top half that flew to Heaven, while the Underworld stole the bottom half that sank below.

Zhen Huan vows to reclaim the secret manual for saving all creation. He will march through the Three Realms, going up to Heaven and down into the Underworld. Along the way, he battles demons and monsters, comes back from the dead countless times, kills Buddhas when he meets them and slays ghosts when he finds them. He will not stop until he gets the manual back...
