War of Resistance: From Bully to Warlord, I Tax the Population

Jiang Fan transmigrates to the Republic of China era as a corrupt cop and awakens the Warlord System, which lets him spend his way to power in a time of chaos!

He earns System Coins each month based on the population of the territory he controls, and can buy any weapons or equipment from the System.

As the population of his territory grows, he levels up. Starting in 1940, each level unlocks five years of technological advancements.

Jiang Fan goes on a recruiting spree.

He wants artillery to sweep the battlefield, along with tactical flanking maneuvers, except his flanking forces are armored divisions.

"The M1 Garand won't cut it. We're switching to the Type 81 rifle family."

"The T-34 won't cut it. We need a Type 59 at minimum."

"Mount that Yingji-63 on the destroyer and chase the American carriers down."

This time, we've sharpened our blades and stand ready. Jiang Fan will fire the first shot of the Battle of Shanghai.

This time, the entire brigade will be armed with Chinese-made weapons, and we'll take back everything that belongs to us. Our land will be far larger than 9.6 million square kilometers.

This time, the postwar spoils will be divided anew. The Western Pacific will belong to Great China.
