Master of Feng Shui

Fang Yu comes from a family of feng shui masters. His great-grandfather, Fang Huacheng, was the Qing dynasty's chief feng shui master at the Imperial Astronomical Bureau, while his grandfather, Fang Tianqi, was renowned for his mastery of yin-yang feng shui and other esoteric arts. Influenced by his grandfather, Fang Yu became highly skilled in feng shui, divination, and folk magic by the age of twenty-two. His grandfather once ran the Caomu Hall in Jingzhou, where he interpreted dreams, read feng shui, and treated strange illnesses. The place was always packed with customers, but he eventually closed it due to old age and disability, and retired to a seaside fishing village. After graduating from university, Fang Yu struggles to find a job, and his girlfriend leaves him for a rich second-generation heir. Hit by both setbacks, he wants to reopen the Caomu Hall, but his grandfather flatly refuses. Fang Tianqi uses his own disability as a warning to his grandson, hoping he won't follow the same path.
