From the Start, I Transmigrated as a Simp Side Character, and the Original Heroine Is Losing Her Mind

He transmigrates into a submissive male side character in a power-fantasy novel about a cocky protagonist. On his very first day after transmigrating, he gets the news that his childhood sweetheart has been cheating on him.

Seeing the Host standing there in a daze, the System kindly reminds him, "You've successfully transmigrated. You can earn rewards by changing the plot!"

"Change the plot! Got it?"

"Absolutely!"

Gu Fan assures the System with complete confidence, so the System leaves with peace of mind.

But when the System returns, it's stunned. The heroine is kneeling and begging Gu Fan for forgiveness, while the male lead is already lying in some corner or other...

What the System thinks changing the plot means: follow the story, take steady steps, change your fate, marry the beautiful, wealthy heroine, and reach the pinnacle of life!

What Gu Fan thinks changing the plot means: from the start, I choose to finish my education, kick the male lead, make a triumphant return, and conquer the female side characters. I'll keep going further down the road of changing the world's rules. A pathetic male side character? Not a chance!

But... when Gu Fan reaches the top of the world, he realizes that all the female side characters and villainesses from the original story have come after him!
